2.0.2 dmg image not recognized in OS X Yosemite
I've been trying to install Musescore 2.0.2 for OS X Yosemite but every time I get a message telling me that "the image is not recognized". I downloaded the installer several times but it's no use. I'm attaching a screenshot of the message. I guess the image for Yosemite has not been properly created. Can anyone confirm this?

That almost always means the download has been interrupted (a giveaway is that the file size in megabytes does not match up with the size it tells you it should be when you start the download). One surefire way to prevent that issue is to use a plugin like DownThemAll for Firefox, which will automatically resume if the download is interrupted (rather than giving up and leaving you with an invalid file).

Thank you! You were right! The strange thing, though, is that in my previous attempts I'm sure there was no interruption of the download. I was always in front of my computer and followed the download status all the way through. Despite that, I believe you're right. I guess I'll have to suppose the file was not properly downloaded, for reasons I can't imagine.

You're welcome! Sometimes a connection can be lost momentarily for no apparent reason—even just before a download is complete. It has happened to me in the past. Fortunately, there are solutions.
