Some letters are italicized when setting Metronome marking plus small size numeral in text string.

The "r" in Straight and the "8" in 8ths seem to be italicized.

I created the entire string by going to Create> Text >Tempo.

When I select each letter, there is no corresponding difference in the text toolbar.

Additionally the numeral (8) was much smaller that the other text and I had to increase it's size to make it similar to the other text

You are using the mscore1 font while editing the tempo. This font has special characters such as the "r", you can avoid this issue by changing the font in the text toolbar.
