Rhythm Indicator issue
Hi, gang!!!
I discovered something that I like to know if it is well or not: Please, see the attached image.
Is it supposed that the "Values" boxes are shown as grey (unchangeable)? ???
If it isn't, How can I fix it? ???
I guess it is important to the metronome playback beat.

The dialog you are looking at is for changing properties of an already-exting time signature, and those are not properties that one should be changing. You apparently want a *new* time signature; this is created using the time signature section of the Master Palette. Press "Shift+T" to display that dialog.

No, Marc. I don't want a new time signature.
I just want to know why the 6/8 time signature is marked as 3/4 by the metronome, and I guess it is related with the unchangeable values of the picture I uploaded. But I don't know how to fix it!!!
BTW: I used the Master Palette and I can't change any about this issue.
Are you sure it isn't a bug? ???

If you want a 6/8 time signature that behaves differently than the current one, then you *do* want a new time signature. It is not a bug that you cannot change the fundamental properties of an existing time signature.
I am not sure what you mean about the metronome, but the metronome in MuseScore should and does tick two beats in 6./8 time, each corresponding to a dotted quarter note. That is the standard way this time signature is counted and the standard way eighth notes are beamed in this time signature. Do a search on "compound meter" for more information.
If you are seeing some sctual behavior you think is a bug, please post the score you are having problems with and precise step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Yes! You're absolutely right about the metronome normally should mark (sounds, "do tick") the dotted quarter note into a 6/8 time signature.
What I don't understand is Why into my system the metronome marks the 6/8 time signature as a normal 3/4 time signature (marking, "do tick" on the normal quarter note), which is not "standard". And, as you can see in the picture, the unchangeable real value of the 6/8 time signature of my system is 3/4. Why? How can I fix it?
BTW: Why we can't change the values of a existing time signature? If I create a new 6/8 time signature, How will I know which is the new one? ???
I think I found the solution (I hope so!!!).
The piece is written with 6/8 time signature. It is imported from another application as a MIDI format file. Because a reason I can't understand, the tempo of the piece is related to the quarter notes, not to the eighteen notes, or the dotted quarter notes (which would be the logic, in this case).
Well, I put, on the starting point of the piece, a tempo mark, related to the eighteen note and now... The metronome ticks on each eighteen note!!!
Then, I put a tempo mark related to the dotted quarter note, and the metronome ticks on each dotted quarter mark!!!
So simple!!!
I don't know if this specific point is on the manual, but I didn't have a clue about this.
So... now I know the tempo marks have... an important role, here (not only a playback speed function).
Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!!!

Hmm, I wasn't aware of this. I guess maybe it could be considered a feature, or not. Could you post the specific MIDI file and steps to reproduce the different behaviors?

Here is the file.
