Crescendo line above staff ?
Do you know where I change the setting for these lines to be placed ABOVE the staff instead of below?
Thanks,
Sandy

This doesn't help. Where are the settings for "Lines"?

For hairpins it is exactly the at the place I showed above, but only for crescendo/diminuend hairpins, not for crescendo(diminuendo lines (and I guess this is a bug or ommission when these had been added to MuseScore in Version 2.0.3, now reported in #164786: crescendo/diminuendo lines take vertical height from hairpin settings rather than dynamics text settings). You can also select the hairpin or line and use the inspector to move it, using the vertical offset

Actually, for MuseScore 2, the default position for crescendo/diminuendo lines is controlled by the same setting as dynamics - the text style for dynamics.

To clarify a little. Click the crescendo, open the inspector (F8) and use the vertical offset to move it. negative numbers move it up. About -9 puts it above the staff. You can move anything in the score this way.
Oh, I see, thank you! I didn't realize hairpins were synonymous with crescendo and decrescendo. Thank you for the clarification!
