Sound Yesterday, No Sound Today
Muse 0.9.6.3
Windows 7
I read the other post on no sound for Windows XP but it was not helpful for me.
The Muse sound worked fine one day, but now no more sound. Neither default music (Bilder einer Ausstellung) nor created music play. Computer sound and speakers work fine. I can stream audio/video, play CD's, hear the normal windows sounds, etc. No error messages from Muse or any other source. All other Muse functions seem to work fine. Everything (including the computer) has been shut down (properly) and restarted several times.
I uninstalled Muse, deleted left over folders, and ran a couple of registry cleaners then reinstalled Muse. Unfortunately even with all my efforts some Muse files must have been left hidden somewhere because after the re-install, old preferences and recently opened Muse files were the same.
I attached some screen shots but don't really know what would be helpful info.
Thanks for your help!

Can you try to Revert to factory settings ?

Thank you, that did the trick. However, that begs two questions, 1) What changed in the first place? and 2) why didn't uninstalling and reinstalling the program accomplish that????
Thanks again!

1/ What changed in the first place ? No idea. Normally you know better :) You should have changed one settings. It might also be that your preferences are corrupted for a unknown reason.
2/MuseScore uninstall is conservative and doesn't delete the preferences in case you upgrade.
