Mixer excludes instruments after undoing instrument removal, with changed settings
1. Open Instrument Names
.
2. Delete any instrument.
3. Undo.
Result: Only the non-removed instruments appear in the mixer, which itself has changes to the settings.
Using MuseScore 1.0 pre-release 2 (3949) and Mac 10.4.11.
Fix version
3.2.0
Comments
Change to critical - the result is now a crash after undo.
Using MuseScore 2.0 nightly build (4089) and Mac 10.4.11.
Seems to be fixed in 1.X branch
Sorry, it's not fixed but not critical since there is no crash.
Crashes in the nightly build (4303) - unless a new one doesn't? Can you put another up please?
Yes, no crash in MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4338) - Mac 10.4.11.
Not sure if it's critical, but I don't know about normal either. What do you think?
1. Open Instrument Names .
2. Delete any instrument that amounts to four staves, or over (e.g. Organ and other instrument, or Piano and two others).
3. Undo.
4. Play.
Result: Crash.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4360) - Mac 10.4.11.
No crash currently, but mixer is indeed missing the removed/restored instruments. Perhaps a duplicate of #22914: Instrument doesn't play properly after undo removal?
or a duplicate or at least related to #164571: UNDO does not remove instrument from mixer?
Tried to reproduce using the example attached in #22914: Instrument doesn't play properly after undo removal, to no avail.
Deleted instruments appear in the mixer when i hit Undo - even their volume setting gets restored :)
Assuming this was fixed in 3.2.0.
