Can't add notes to bass staff if other staves (without notes) are hidden

I'm running MuseScore 2.0.2, rev f51dc11, and having a problem with the attached score. The full score is for Guitar and SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) choir, though currently the Alto and Guitar staves have no notes. To conserve space, I used Style>General, and under Score clicked on the "Hide empty staves" button. The result looks correct (Guitar and Alto staves hidden) but now cannot enter notes in the Bass staff; note entry works fine for Soprano and Alto staves, and I am able to select notes (and change their pitch) on all staves.

I discovered that i can work around this issue by not hiding empty staves, since note entry works fine when the full score is visible. This is a doable work-around, but it would be great to know why this is happening (and to get it fixed).
