Disabling the Note Key (N)
Can anyone help me please.
I am getting so frustrated having to switch off the N key every time I use the key board to place a note into the manuscript I am writing.
I only write simple stuff, like harmonies for my flute kids, or transposing a piece of music I have in hard copy....
But I like to use the key board to put in my notes and every time I do the little blue dot appears, and has to be switched off again before I can type in another note....and it is driving me crazy..
Help???

Why should it be necessary to switch off the N key?
Forget the mouse pointer.
Did you study this:

Indeed, switching off note input mode is *not* what you want. if the cursor on screen bothers you, simply move the mosue to push it offscreen, but you need to stay in note input mdoe to enter notes, whether entering them by mouse or keyboard.
