Redefining bar notes (e.g C4 -> C3)
Hi. I am trying to lower my song in musescore by a whole octave. I dont want
to transpose it with the normal tool, because then all the notes end up far
below the bars. How can I redefine the bars to be one octave lower?
This is because the song is to difficult to sing when so high pitched.

Sorry, this does not work. Then the notes itself are moved down, far outside the bars. I want the bars to be redifined. For example do I want a note that is written on the G bar to be a G3. Not a G4 as it is now ...

Move them down as described, then pull the G8vb clef (the G clef with the Little 8 below) from the advanced workspace) into the 1st bar. The the notes are visually at the same spot as before but sound (and are) an octave lower
