Distorted audio
I've exported a Clarinet quartet as a .wav, but the audio seems distorted, like the distortion you get when the audio is peaked (kind of like a static noise). This doesn't happen in my other songs, but only when Clarinets are the only instrument in the score. Any suggestions? I tried tweaking the export settings, but nothing works.

I believe that's a known problem with the samples used for few clarinet notes specifically. If you browse the soundfont forum, you might find an improved version of the FluidR3 soundfont that corrects this, or you could download any other soundfont and install it as described in the Handbook under Soundfont.
Thank you! I switched over to the other version of FluidR3 (GM2) rather than mono, and it has helped. There is still a little bit of noise, but is far better than the previous renders.

The samples in FluidR3 are the same as in the mono version so I don't understand why there would be an improvement?????
I would try Christan Collins General User GS soundfont or one of the others listed in the handbook.

Well, whether it's placebo or not, I have noticed that the Clairnets and sound in general was improved. Clarinet is now easier to hear in an ensemble, while parts of the brass section is toned to be easier blended in a full orchestra.
