I'm not sure I understand you, but You want to do white staves on black paper?
You can export Your black notes to png, then invert colours in GIMP, and save...

Great stuff! You give me an idea to use PaintShopPro. I can do Inversion with that program . I only have to figure now out to get a black layer as basis so that I can see the white notes and to save it as one image.
Just for my personal curiosity, may I ask what's the purpose of doing so ?
MuseScore V1-. Windows 7
I am rewriting all the songs we sing in church so that every verse shows notes and lyrics. We project the text via a projector (using Powerpoint) onto a wall. The reason for the notes is that we have a lot of melodies that seem to be difficult to sing without notes visible and we want the congregation to be able to sing everything. MuseScore is an angel in disguise to help me!
We have discovered that during the morning service the projection of black notes and lyrics on white background works best, and for the evening service the white notes and lyrics on black background are the easiest to read.
I am just curious: I can change everything to white except the staves. If that is not possible, I will have to look at something like using PaintShopPro to change the colour. Any suggestions of another program that will be more helpful?
Kind regards!

Save all your scores in pdf format directly from MuseScore and then use some pdf viewer software which can invert the colors. That should be the easiest solution.
Hi Thomas
I have tried the PDF route you have mentioned. Unfortunately I don't have such a program handy and the demo version of one of the programs I googled didn't help me. Limited time is now my problem. I will look at this option again later.
So I decided on saving the file as a PNG,
opened it in Powerpoint as a slide,
save it again as a PNG,
opened it in PaintShopPro and changed the colour (ADJUST> COLOR BALANCE>NEGATIVE IMAGE),
resaved it is a PNG and inserted it into PowerPoint.
I got the results I desired. Please see attachments.

I do not know if you're still interested:
Selects elements, one by one and choose White;
Make Invisible the staves;
The normal score is easy to see and click;
With Paint brush build a square and paint it black;
Save as Nero.png, then in Preferences / type of paper choose Nero.png;
This way you can project the playback (I was in a choir too) ;-)

But not only does the area off the page?

In English, it would be Edit -> Preferences -> Canvas -> Notesheet, then select Color, then click on the black box to change the color.

happy to hear you.
This is what I see, I'm missing something? The swatch is just for background, not for notesheet (if there is, I do not see, but from the point of view of computer science I am little more than a caveman, even if, sometimes, a small blow with his cudgel ... solves). It was just an idea, not worry about me, Kind regards Franz.

Hi Franz -
Do you have white selected for the Notesheet color? Try clicking where you think the color box would be and see if the color selector comes up.

Hi Filist!
I also need to change the color of my score, I have Musescore 2.0.3 installed. So I go to the Preferences-Canvas and the "Notesheet" section isn't there anymore!! What happened? Can I still do that in 2.0.3?

Depending on what language version you are using, it might be called something else (it's "Paper" in US English).
and invisible to me. I had eaten bread and goose ... Maybe a small frame would help.
Thanks to you and to all.
