Swap note positions

The quarter note and pair of half notes are played simultaneously. Is there a way I can switch these around so that the slur doesn't cross the half notes? Flipping the stem directions of each does, but I don't... like it. I can't quite articulate why, other than to say that they "lines" are crossing. I'm very much new to composing, so I don't know a lot of terminology.

Double-click on the note and use the arrow keys or Inspector / Horizontal offset.
(unconventional layout though for those who read it will change the sequence of notes played)
