Windows ALT - 184 on the numeric keypad
Mac instead ALT - C

The Alt+184 only works on Microsoft Word. It shows up as 184 when I type it into the copyright on musescore.

I attach an example, open one of your score and the one attached here;

As far as I know, copyright should be Alt+0169, assuming your keybaord supports this method of entry (not all do). You may have to use the numeric keypad, and the "0" is not optional.
But if your keyboard / OS doesn't support that, then copy and paste always works. Try again, probably your finger slipped or something. Try typing the entire copyright message into Word and then copying / pasting it into MuseScore if you are having trouble with just the copyright symbol itself. But be sure to use the correct copyright symbol Alt+0169 - I don't know what 184 is.

I guess for some reaosn some programs might make this conversion automatically, but as far as I know that would be a quirk of that particular program. 169 is the correct international standard for the copyright symbol in any Unicode font. Maybe some ancient pre-Unicode fonts used 184? Not sure of the history there. But modern fonts should all use 169. 184 is something else entirely.

Alt+0169 is the standard way of inputting it. I've just tested Alt+184 in NotePad++ and it results in the same copyright symbol, both represented C2A9 hex.
As for copying it from somewhere, on windows you can always launch charmap (WindowsKey + R, type 'charmap', hit 'return') and get it from there.

Thanks guys. Alt +0169 works, but it has to be from the number key pad at the right side. (The one at the top row of the main keyboard will not work).
