F2 key doesn’t work anymore (Mac OS X)
I transcribe a lot of music in Portuguese, and I need some special characters (à, ç, etc.). I just installed v1.0, and I noticed that I no longer have the menu that used to pop up when I hit the F2 key. Where can I find these characters now?

F2 still works for me (on Windows 7). You can also click on the keyboard icon described toward the end of the text editing page in the handbook.

And where might I find the Text Pallet?

Double click on a text. The text pallet should appear at the bottom of MuseScore window.

Sorry, I am not english-native speaker. I don't understand what you try to tell me about.
Thanks

You need to double click on the text before you can edit the text or see the text-specific icons. The Spanish handbook will also have instructions. See the first sentence in Edición de texto

I see. Thanks. Perhaps in the spanish handbook would be necessary to add a word, because "text toolbar" is translated as
"barra de herramientas" only ("toolbar") . I think it could be "barra de herramientas del editor de texto". Like "Note entry toolbar" in translated as "barra de herramientas de introducción de notas"
