Position of play panel and inspector panel

Both the play panel and the inspector panel on my Muse Score are stuck on the right hand side of my screen and cannot be moved. Drag and drop doesn't have any effect and on the play panel I can no longer access the playback volume slide control.
This happens on every score that I open, regardless of how long the computer has been switched off.

What operating system are you on? Can you post a screenshot? Does it fix itself if you follow the instructions in the Handbook under "Revert to factory settingd"?
BTW, the Inspector works differently thsn the Play Panel. The Inspector is normally docked to the main window. But you can drag it away which undocks it, and then it is floating liek the Play Panel. The Play Panel is always floating. I can't think of anything except a defective mosue that prevent either from being dragged.
