measures, dynamics, and time signatures
I am new to musescore and like the ease of inputting to a score sheet. I have been having problems deleting errors that I make. I have followed the instructions in the handbook for deleting single and multi-measures. When I try to fix a problem, I make more problems. Is there anyone out their who has made mistakes that they had to fix, and how is it done. The most recent is a double bar line and a time signature of 3/4 time that is in a place that it shouldn't be. I ended up with measures added both before and after the error. I also have a marking of ppp where it shouldn't be. I can not delete any of them.
The instructions for deleting multi-measures is confusing in the it says to mark the starting measure and while holding the shift key down, mark the last measure. When I try this, nothing happens.

click the dynamics (or time signatures or other element) and press Del;
click a measure, press Del: deletes the content;
click a measure press Ctrl + Del: delete the measure.
Selection in MuseScore works similarly to most programs. To select a rangew of measures, you do indeed click the first (which should draw a blue rectangle around it), then Shift+click the last (which should extend the rectangle to encompass the whole range of measures. Do you see the rectangle? Once you have selected the range and can see the rectangle, you can delete the range by pressing Ctrl+Delete.
Aside from that, for your other problems, in order to help much, we'd really need you to post the score you are having problems with and to describe more precisely what the problem is. To delete a double bar, dynamic marking, or indeed, just about anything in MuseScore, it should be as simple as clicking it and pressing the Delete key.
