Cues that start in the middle of a multimeasure rest.
I am working on transposing an instrument part of a pre existing score and I am aiming to keep as many formatting details in my transposition as I can. In the original there is a flute cue that starts beat 4 of the end of the multimeasure rest. How can i recreate this on Musescore? Example attached.

Instead of thinking to add a beat 4 on the end of a MM rest (impossible by definition), you had to change the actual duration (in Measure Properties) of the immediate next measure ie 1/4.
Then, enter the G, and made invisible the barline ("V" shorcut, or in Inspector).
If you want, you may complete by: View -> Untick: "Show invisible"

Alternatively, you could add a grace note before the first note then move it horizontally. That way you wouldn't mess up the measures for any other instruments. It would, however, affect playback so if the latter was important then cadiz1's method is better.
If I were reading that music, I think I'd come in a measure too late. I'd rather have it like this:

But you're not coming in, you're listening to the cue notes of the flute and probably coming in a few bars later so it should be reasonably natural to pick up on the lead-in note at the end of the multi-bar rest.

Perhaps. But I'd still rather not have a note inside a multimeasure rest.
