Where would I notate the dynamics if I'm writing an SATB score with lyrics?
So, where would I put the dynamic markings for a compressed SATB score with piano. Do I put it above the line, or below the line.

If you by "compressed" mean that SA share one staff and TB the other, then S dynamics should always be above, A always below. Similar for TB.
If a choral voice has its own staff, the dynamics should always be above.

But I try couple times, and MuseScore only allows me to put dynamics below the staff. Please advise me how you do it above the staff especially for Soprano.
Thanks.

Select it and press X, or in Inspector change it position to Above

Or if you want this by default for all staves in your score, change the placement in Format / Style / Dynamics.

You can also create a custom palette and have “normal” dynamics and others formatted the way you like, such as in the attached.
