MuseScore 3.4.2 and my Windows 10
Hello everyone!
Need help. I don't know what happened, suddenly Musescore is no longer working on my notebook.
I have already installed and uninstalled but the problem continues.
First he opened but all the palettes, including the personalized ones, disappeared.
Then it didn't open anymore ...
I click to open and the following messages appear ...
Any guidance or suggestion thank you very much!

Thanks Jojo!
These explanations for those who have mastered computer science mainly programming are ok.
In my case, I haven't been able to solve it yet, very brief guidelines.
Is there another, more didactic path

No, that handbook page does explain it as detailed as it possibly can
As you can't use Help > Revert to factory settings as MuseScore doesn't start at all, you'd need to go the command line route

Vou tentar porque não tem como eu reverter de fábrica sendo que nem funciona.

@Jojo-Schmitz, I don't have Windows on me but, in the program folder, there's not the command?

Good Morning!
Hello Shoichi ... What would that command be?
I haven't been able to resolve the MuseScore issue yet, it doesn't want to work on my notebook anymore. I use windows 10 and have already performed some previous procedures but without success.
Any help I am very grateful, because I am doing educational work at home due to the current situation and I need to solve it.

Just follow the steps from that handbook I linked to above

Good morning Jojo.
I've done everything and the attached message appears.
What to do?

Try -w instead of -F
Or start MuseScore by double-clicking a score file
In reply to Try -w instead of -F by Jojo-Schmitz
I read the instructions and opened the file to execute the command as you saw in the PDF file.
This letter where it is written in the command?
I tried to open a score but without success!
It still doesn't work.
Would it be possible for you to copy and paste this command with this letter here in the topic?
I don't want to switch to Finale or Sibelius anymore!

I don't see what command you used in that PDF, just that you got a crash.
As explaind in the handbook you need to run this command
"C:\Program Files\MuseScore 3\bin\MuseScore3.exe" -F
If you are having in installed in the default localtion

Yes it is installing in the default location.
I've already executed the two commands with letter F and W (image attached) but nothing happens, simply MuseScore no longer works on my notebook. Previous messages continue. I have already uninstalled and installed several times and it does not solve.
OBS. Encore, Finale and Sibelius work normally.
Any other solution (without formatting the note) to save my life as a teacher?

reinstalling is very unlikely to fix this.
Try -w (lower case!)
Not sure about all those spaces in the file name, esp. around those backslashes ('\')?

I don't know what to do anymore!
I removed all spaces between the bars, nothing happens by typing the letter f or w.
Come on!
In reply to I don't know what to do… by mjbartemusica1
-F for resetting to factory settings, uppercase F, -w to disable webview (lower case w), as a test whether this solves the crash if -F does not. And the entire program string in double quotes.
"C:\Program Files\MuseScore 3\bin\MuseScore3.exe" -F
and/or
"C:\Program Files\MuseScore 3\bin\MuseScore3.exe" -w
Just cope/paste those lines. Come on, I told you already and the handbook does too, this isn't exactly rocket science.

Thanks for the guidance Jojo!
Nothing works, I copied and pasted the two commands and it doesn't work.

apparently you did not, there are those spaces again around the backslashes and the system told you that it didn't find that command

Then the program is not where you think it is. Go and find MuseScore3.exe

Different approach: right-click the link you use to start MuseScore, go to Properties, in the Target field append
-F (space, -, F)
Then start MuseScore using that shortcut.
Then modify it again to remove the stuff added above

Hello Jojo!
This approach worked and returned to work. I'll just have to reinstall my custom palettes.
You know a lot ... I kindly ask you to consider my apologies for your insistence on solving the problem.
Thanks for everything friend!
