Midi input not detected in Musescore
Piano: Yamaha P-115
Laptop: Windows 10.0 (x86 64 bit)
MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.4.2.9788, revision: 148e43f
I have the above piano & laptop, & connect them via a USB B to A cable.
Yet Musescore 3 does not detect the midi input from the piano.
What I tried:
Yamaha driver um3141x64 has been downloaded & installed.
The digital piano is running normally in the devices manager.
The midi input can be detected in other midi software (I downloaded midi-ox to test it)
(The piano can be detected in Musescore 3 in my another old laptop running Windows 8 64 bit. So the piano & usb cable should be ok.)
What could i do?????

Try turning on the keyboard before starting MuseScore.
I assume that um3141x64 is the latest driver and for W10?

Yes, the piano works on my old laptop. As the piano cannot be detected, note input does not work.
Oh, it works finally..
when I am about to give up inputting from the piano & use the Korg Microkey Air instead via bluetooth.
I disconnect the P115 at the Windows 10 bluetooth devices interface, & then reconnect it..
then it suddenly works...
