Heyo,
So the issue I have is that Musescore will randomly crash. Majority of the time will be during note input and the rest of the time is doing other things (hence random). I recently updated to version 3.4 and the issue has been present since.
I have tried troubleshooting by uninstalling, deleting, reinstalling, factory resetting, and removing soundfonts and plugins but the issue is still present. I have also actively tried to get the app to crash but no matter what I do it will crash randomly. I've tried seeing if anyone has reported a similar issue but from what I've gathered, their crash is related to an action (saving) and/or file/part corruption. So, I don't know what to do lol.
Your help is appreciated in advance.

Sample score and/or steps to reproduce needed

No steps available. It just happens randomly.
That score apparently got created (or at least last save) with MuseScore 3.5 Beta
No crashes for me though
It doesn't have parts, so it can't be parts corruptions
It stopped crashing for a while but has started up again. The version I was using on the attached score is 3.4.2. Is it possible that having both 3.4 and 3.5 is causing issues?
That score is not crashing here, neither in 3.4.2 nor in 3.5 Beta
I've been working in 3.5 beta, but earlier today, when I went to 3.4.2 to troubleshoot another issue, the program crashed upon loading. I don't know if it's exactly the same issue as imhere, but on my side, it's prevented me from using 3.4.2. I tried repairing the install, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it still crashes. The splash opens, it prompts me about restoring the previous session, and then it doesn't matter whether I click yes or no, the same thing happens: MuseScore opens (no score opens, just the main window) and then immediately crashes.
Have you tried the -F command line option to revert to factory settings?

Thanks for your help anyway.
¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not sure how to do that, Marc, sorry. But doesn't matter too much. I was just trying to get back to 3.4.2 to troubleshoot something, but it's irrelevant now. And the 3.5 RC is out, so that's already a step forward. Thanks, though!
For the record - and likely this will be good know in the future - information on using command line options is found in the corresponding section of the Handbook.
Might be #308022 or #308019 ?
#308022: Crash when doubling the duration of a note or #308019: Deleting a single note causes file corruption ?
