Project
Behind Bar's p.28 says:
> The numeral '8' is 1 1/2 stave-spaces high.
In MuseScore the numeral is about 2 stave spaces high, which is too large.
Workaround: Reducing the font size from 12pt to 10 pt seems to give the right size, but this should be done in the default style rather than left up to users to do on their own.

3.5.0
Comments
Format > Style > Text Styles > Ottava shows the default to even be 24.00pt, but in score/Inspector it indeed is 12.00(pt?), where does that difference come from? Is it really showing pt in Inspector and if so, why without the "pt", i.e. without any unit.
Changing that text style doesn't seem to make any difference, not to existing, nor to newly added ottavas, maybe the size is 'baked' into the corresponding elements of the palette?
OK, it is not 'baked' into the palette, changing it from 12 to 10 at libmscore/style.cpp, line 501 seems to fix this issue, but in Format > Style > Text Styles > Ottava this doesn't make any difference, it still reads 24.00pt there ?!?

I cannot change the size of the ottava. It just doesn't react to anything I change in text styles. I don't understand any of the solutions in this thread. Please tell me step for step what to do. Thank you! :)
In 3.5 RC?
