Auto Placement .... Any way to disable please?
Lots of great things on the new release! (so much less scrolling ... very clean drop down)
Love the new release!
Only issue I have is the Auto Placement.
I often have a few Text notes at the top of a one page jazz chart,
and every time I try to drag these to the top, it creates spacing problems.
Part of this was solved by not writing Text from a lower Staff Note, then dragging it to the top
BUT - I would love to be able to Save my Style, which hopefully will include the disableing of Auto Placement.
Any ideas please?

Edit->Preferences->Shortcuts, there is a shortcut to Toggle 'Automatic placement' globally.

Thank You Shochi! Found your tip - just where you said it would be of course,
Note To Others: I had to create a command for this "Toggle Auto Globally" shortcut, it was easy, just click on the feature, then click "define", then create your own shortcut.
Note: My score still keeps Auto Spacing the top space, when I move text up or down, and when I move chord changes, the bars still auto space ... is there a way to also stop this Auto Spacing, or is that a basic system requirement?

Use Inspector? Or maybe use the short cut after.

This is Perfect! now I can freely drag my Chnages, and Text, without anything else changing!
Note to others: I did "select all" ... "view" ... "inspector" ..."uncheck Automatic Placement"
Thank You so much!

This will, unfortunately, cause very severe problems. Disabling autoplace for everything will lead to incorrect spacings and will require tons of manual positioning that should not be necessary. I posted another response with one suggestion regarding the specific issue of getting text at the top of the score. but if there are other things you are having trouble, I definitely encourage you to attach and example so we can understand and assist better. You shouldn't have to work nearly as hard as disabling autoplace would force you to!
While it is indeed possible to disable autoplace this way, it normally should not be necessary. My guess is the text notes are not being added properly if the goal is to get them at the top. For example, if you want them to appear within he title frame, don't add them as staff text to a note in the score - add them as frame text to the frame itself. Then you won't need to disable autoplace or do any manual adjustment at all - it will appear in the desired location right away.
If you attach a sample score, we can assist better.

Greetings MARC, just saw this reply, well you are right ... massive problems now (after the new version)
I've kept working on it, and now realize I like this better with Auto Space ON, then I just hit the = key if I need to add anything, this solves the Spacing issue
