V3 doesn't take into account V2 file name in first save as :-(
Finally starting to do the jump to V3 ...
Reset position, save in my newly V3 folders where I will now manage the scores to avoid messing with my V2 "repo", ...
After "migrating" several files I see with horror that I have saved them in V3 folder with the title of the score as file name instead of the carefully designed filename of the V2 score :-(
Why doesn't "save" default to the original file name ?!?

In fact ... there is a by-pass: if you explicitly do "Save as..." for your first save instead of "Save" then the name is preserved !!
Very strange.
Anyway I'll use "Save as" instead of "Save" now (only first time after conversion V2=>V3 of course)

Yes, that ist a workaround
I will add the note that if, indeed, you name the new file in the MS3 dir the same as the old file in the MS2 dir, that name will appear twice in "Recent files" with no way of knowing which is which (a separable bug, perhaps), leading to repeated wailing and gnashing of teeth.
