It exists another notation for the inverted turn ornament.
It is like normal turn symbol but with a vertical line in the middle.
It is possible to add this alternative symbol ?

The symbol is already possible from the symbols palette. Press z and search for turn.
It could still become a 'first class citizen'. This is a suggestion after all...
What is the proposed playback? Same as for the inverted turn?

Hi
I am fully aware that the inverted turn ornament is available in musescore.
All I am suggesting is to have the possibility to use another, an alternative symbol, for it.
See attached file inverted-turn2.jpg
Yes, I got that, but how should it play back? Same as for the (other?) inverted turn?

Yes, the play back should be the same as the already existing inverted turn.
As I said, the turn is in the symbols palette.
It doesn't play back but you can use it for display.

OK. Maybe it is not yet available in 3.5.2.312125617-x86_64.AppImage (Linux)
I didn't find it in that version.
The symbol is available and since long as it is in SMuFL.
Not (yet) in the ornamets palette and not with playback though. That should be easy to fix though

OK, I just learned how to access the symbol palette and I confirm the symbol is there.
I wasn't aware of this popup window before :)
