Insert a blank page
Hi, I would like to know if I could insert a blank page where I want to put a header in the right hand corner with only the title of the Score?
And also sometimes at the end of the score as well... in the left hand side...
The more I discover MuseScore, the more I'm amazed with its possibilities and its flexibitity!

I print the scores on both side of the sheets, and arrange them to be more convenient to read : They usually have 2 to 6 pages long. So I print the first page on one side only, then 2-3 on both sides, 4-5 and so on, until the last page. This way, the choir members don't have to change page often if the first page is on the left side.
With many scores in their binder, it would be easier when searching for a score to have the title of the scores printed in the upper corner on the back of the first (and last) page, as it is printed in the corner of each page of the score with the many optional header and footer style.
I tried inserting a vertical frame and pushing away the real first page, but then I can't put back the title etc on the new page 1, and my automatic header appears on the title page, thinking it's the second page.

You can insert a frame *before* the title frame. You can also put a title in any frame you like - just right click, Add / Title.
Again, in order to help you better, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with so we can see exactly what you are dealing with.

I cannot put the "Titles Frame" where the score begins.
It should appear beside the picture, along with the "Arrangement" sentence.
I wish I could leave only the little "En Montant la Rivière" that you see in the right upper corner.
and hide the header from the "new" first page, not counting the blank one.

As I said, you can add a title to any frame. So, just right click the frame containing the image, Add / Title, etc. No way I can think of to suppress the header on page 2, though. Maybe better to use a PDF editor to add a cover page rather than doing it in MuseScore.

Thank you for the info. We often forget the right click :-)
If not for the paging, it would have closed the issue.
As you say, maybe easier to edit the PDF afterward, but I used to print the .mscz directly... one more step for each score.

I can't find it in the manual. And I don't know how to look for it. I looked in the Table of Contents and read Section on Text, and, once again went around in circles with the word 'frame' which appears to be used with two different meanings, one as an adjective 'Frame text', and one as a noun regarding the properties of a line around an enclosure. I looked for the term in the Index.
I have been reading the manual, quite often since 2017. My first experience with commercial music notation programs was Finale 1.0.1. The Finale manual had an Index, and images. Before 'the sale', they produced a 'cheat sheet', an annotated graphic that could be examined to find an example of what the user was looking for, and then the word [found in the Index] that led the user to the appropriate section[s] of the manual.
I taught Finale for about 10 years. My knowledge of the surface features and structural design was quite complete.
I am not a daily user of music notation programs. I have printed out and annotated three copies of the MuseScore manual. Many average pages have between 10 and 20 key words underlined, circled, given labels and cross-referenced to page numbers.
However, my experience remains that I sometimes go around in circles.
Your knowledge, wisdom and generosity regarding MuseScore is deeply appreciated, and I learn a great deal from reading through the questions and answers.
I would like at some point to be able to stop being an apprentice in learning the core structural elements of the program, but I find I have not been able to do this simply be Reading The Manual.
Again, I thank you for your time and dedication to this important project.

Thank you. I understand, I can't insert a blank page. The concept does not exist in the program. I need to insert an empty frame and the formatting will create the 'blank page' I need.
The documentation reads:
A text frame can be used, for example, to:
• Create lyric text at the end of a score.
• Create subtitles and other annotations between systems.
A third line here could be:
•• Create an empty page at the beginning of the score.

Actually an empty page everywhere, not just on the first page
