Shorten space between notes in a tuplet
So I'm trying to recreate a cadenza from a piece, but the cadenza runs off the screen unlike the original piece, so how do I fix this? I've tried reducing the layout stretch, but that didn't do anything. I've made all the notes visible small, didn't work either. I'm at a loss. If possible, I'd like the notes to have a very, very small gap between them. (Top file is the recreation, bottom is the original)

Select only the notes (select the measures, right click a note, select>All similar elements in range selection) then reduce the leading space in the inspector to a negative number. Once you get arouns -0.70 the space actually starts to increase, so it may be necessary to reduce the spacing in the Page settings if this doesn't work. This will shrink the entire score but is sometimes necessary.

Thanks so much!
I would also observe that you set only the "notes" to be small, not the "chords". Thus, you have smaller noteheads, but the stems and spacing and everything else is not scaling. So instead, use the Chord section of the Inspector to set to small (and I'd set the notes back to full size). However, that in itself isn't enough, and neither is playing with stretch or even minimum note distance - the leading space adjustment does indeed seem to be needed, although normally I'd consider that a last resort.
