Musescore 3.6 crashes upon opening Windows 10

When I open musescore, it crashes as soon as the message 'initializing start center' is displayed.
What's odd however is that when I open a musescore file, it works just fine.
So basically somehow I can't open musescore on itself without opening a file.
How can I fix this?
