Legally Blind - NOTE INPUT MENU TOO SMALL
I am legally blind and the Note Input Menu is very, very small! My Musescore 2 had a FIX to enlarge it to regular size. Does this version have a fix like that? Here's the one for Musescore 2. I place it in the WINDOWS KEY + "R":
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2\bin\MuseScore.exe" -x1

Another possibility is to open Preferences (under the edit menu) and change the size of icons in the General tab.
Something is wrong if your icons are that tiny. And the workaround you used in MuseScore 2 didn't really fix it, your icons are bigger, but the score is still way too small. At 100%, it should be life size - same as a piece of paper.
Most likely MuseScore is not detecting your monitor resolution correctly, Better to use -D xxx, where xxx = your monitor resolution in dots per inch. If it's a TV set, for instance, probably 72.

This worked for me! Thanks for the input!
"C:\Program Files\MuseScore 3\bin\MuseScore3.exe" -D 40
-D 72 was too big and some of the note input was off the screen.

I'm sorry but, what does this mean? what exactly did you do? in the musescore folder, I don't see a musescore.exe available to open and edit. I only see the blue musescore 3 icon, which opens the program. all other files are .dll files? in preferences I was able to increase icon size, but that still leaves my pallet icons and time signature properties icons tiny. could you please explain in further detail what -D xxx is, where to find it, how to access/edit it?

I found this information somewhere here in the Forum. What I did to enlarge the notes values and palette was to hit Windows key + R key together to open the RUN dialogue box on my Windows 10 Pro and typed the following command: "C:\Program Files\MuseScore 3\bin\MuseScore3.exe" -D 70 (be sure to put the quotes). This command opens my MuseScore 3.exe file and the [-D 70] if the size of icons.
See the attached pics to see the differences.

I didn't "edit" the MuseScore.exe file. I just placed it in the Run Command.

Sorry, MuseScore3.exe
Hello All,
I had the Musescore 3 tiny icon issue on my Windows 10 PC. Here is how I fixed the problem:
> Right Click the MuseScore 3 shortcut icon on your Desktop.
> Click "Open file location".
> Right Click "MuseScore3.exe" (this is the program's executable).
> Click "Properties".
> Click the "Compatibility" tab at the top of the window.
Note: I tried using the "Change high DPI settings > check "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: Application, System, and System (Enhanced)." options, but these did not do anything.
> What I did under the "Compatibility" tab was Clicked the "Run compatibility troubleshooter" and let Windows fix the problem. IT WORKED!!! RESOLVED!!!!
I hope this helps!
