Select Accidental based on pitch, or on selected notes

Enhancement of Select - More dialog for Accidentals to options with "same pitch", or with "associated with selected notes".

Can you explain in more detail what you are trying to do? Do you mean, you want to select not all G#, but the sharp signs on those G#? If so, then that doesn't really work, because "all similar" for notes literally means, other notes, this would be kind of a different facility. But maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Yes, select all sharps on G#5 (for example).
Or, second possibility, select all accidentals on selected notes. For example, is there are selected notes F#4, C#5, ... (and may be also Db) - select those accidentals.

There would need to be an otpion to do that in the More dialog for the sharp itself. But, can you explain the real world use case for this that led to the request? Could be there is a simpler way to achieve the end result. For example, if you want to simply delete them, instead select the notes and hit the down arrow, etc.

I know, it is rare.
I remember, I was looking for it while ago, but I cant remember why.
But now, Im working on some scordatura scores, where custom key signatures are used often and there is a limitation, which bringed me again to this need.

OK, yeah, for this case, a new option with Select / More for the accidental itself would do the trick. Feel free to post this as a Suggestion to the issue tracker.

If there wouldnt be that limitation, there wouldnt be need for this selection option (for me).

Yes, that too :-). Everything works for standard key signatures, and even "normal" non-standard ones, but these extra-special ones with different accidentals for different octaves need to be dealt with more manually.

I wrote small plugin, which covers my needs. It hides accidentals of selected notes.
