Problem
I'm want to use the Jazz Lead Sheet format for this piece rather than the Grand Staff version I have used. The Jazz Lead Sheet version shows only one staff. As you will see, in certain locations I want to show two staves. How do I make this change? Thanks. John Fries jfries@ptd.net

I think you could use two Tools by removing the left hand from the first and the right hand from the second.
Enter the notes then hide the empty staves.

Yes. So remove all the content of the left-hand when it should not be visible, leaving only full-measure rests. Then enable Hide when empty in staff settings.

Your idea will work. Thank you. However, what I need to know is how to use a treble and bass staff when using the Jazz Lead Sheet setup. Please reply.

Simply add the second staff in Edit / Instruments - select the existing staff and press "Add Staff".
