Add "Composer" before the name
Hi all,
just trying out Musescore - I can add composer and lyricist in the Score, but how do I get it to actually say Composer - xxx & Lyricist - xxx?
At the moment it just adds the names, with no attribution.
Thanks

Type Composer before the name.
If you have already entered the name, as with the other elements, double click it to enter in edit mode.
Just put it there.

Rather defeats the object of pre-named text fields but yes I could do that, except that with imported MusicXML it doesn't work. It also doesn't work unless the score is created from scratch with this addition. Editing a previously named score doesn't seem to work.

Of course it also does work on an already created score. Double click thw composer and add "Composer:" to it.
I do exactly that quite other to add "Music:", "Text:", "Arr.:", etc.

OK so I edit in place, fine. I guess I didn't expect to do that as it's a "field" and I'm used to Dorico where editing directly in the field upsets , or rather over-rides the setting.

Those "field" and the corresponding tags in File > Score properties get filled on score creation, but are not connected afterwards
