bossa Nova rhythm
Hi
Is there anything different to add to a score to signify the song is bossa nova. Some examples are
Stand by me, Sunday morning, Every breath you take.

Just add that phrase as text - assuming it's you're talking about a lead sheet where musicians are creating their own accompaniment from chord symbols. If you mean, you want to take a song and arrange it in bossa nova style, that's a pretty big question, but the starting point would be to listen to a lot of bossa nova to learn the rhythms. And note that none of the songs you mentioned are anything even remotely resembling bossa nova.
Instead, see for example The Girl From Ipanema: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5QfXjsoNe4

It's certainly possible there exists a video of someone attempting to play those songs in bossa nova style, but the original recordings certainly are not, neither would most "covers" of these songs be.
"Every Breath You Take" is one of the most strictly metronomic pieces of popular music.
Sting did, however, pick guitar and sing ths:

Piano by Kenny Kirkland just flows.
