Melody transfer line
I'm notating a barbershop arrangement where the melody transfers from the Lead to the Baritone (and then back again later). Usually, there is a dashed line that goes from the last Lead note that had the melody across staves to the first Baritone note where he takes over the melody. I hope I'm explaining it adequately. Is there a way to attach a dashed line from a note in the treble clef diagonally to a following note in the bass clef?

Ctrl click each of the 2 notes to select.
Use Menu item: Add -> Lines... and use the Note Anchored Line.
You can set 'Line style' to dotted in the Inspector.

Thank you so much! I kept trying lines from the palette but could not find anything that worked and i just didn't search the handbook with the correct terms to find it.

It may not even be mentioned there. "Note Achored Line" is a very usefull but largly unknown feature
