Saved files

They are surely still at the same place where you saved them, unless you deleted them.
Use Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) to search for files ending in .mscz

Indeed, they should be in the same location they were this morning. if you can't remember the exact folder you were looking in then, and have trouble using the file search facility on your compute,r another nice trick is to create a new score, then use File / Save and pay attention to what folder it offers by default. If you aren't in the habit of changing folders (which could explain why you don't remember which folder they are in), chances are good that the default offered here is also where your lost files are, as probably that was the same default when you saved them.
