hi. i guess he means this: such arrow shaped guitar notehead for strings strumming in oriental world are very common. see the picture

Those ain't noteheads (and no such notehead exists in SMuFL and so won't in MuseScore), but arpeggios
Perhaps you mean slash (hash) marks to notate chord strums?
