Stave spacing
I am typing a melody, but the spacing between the staves is huge. I went into Page Settings to try 'scaling', but that reduces the size of everything. Is there a way to get more lines of music on a page, but still nice and large and readable?

I have discovered that the spacing closes up if I leave add a load of empty bars. But it's only a short little melody and I would rather have the rest of the page blank. Maybe I can make the empty bars invisible somehow?

Try disabling vertical justification in [Style]>[Page] settings.
