Skipping Measure Numbers

I'm working on transcribing a pit orchestra score so I can combine and transpose some parts, but I'm running into trouble with the measure numbers. It's got quite a few places where, because they're cutting something out from the broadway version, it will have [to]51 or the like in the measure number spot, and then pick up numbering from there. I'd like the measure numbers to still match up with the conductor's score, so is there any way to do this? Thanks!
