5 string bass tab
I would like to add a tab to my score. For guitar I understand how to do it, but don't get it working for 5 string bass. How can I do it?

When I open a new score I put "solo". But 5 string bass does not show up, only guitar+tab. Is there another method? Thanks

Yes, select the instruments, don't use any of the templates

Then I either get tablet or score, but not both.

The "staff" button is not clickable in my program. Can't do what is on the link you were so kind to put.

If you by the "staff" button mean the "Add staff" button; then you need to throw another careful eye at step 1. Which is to start with selecting an existing staff on the righthand side of that dialog window.
