Musescore 3 for Windows 7 32 bit
There was no problem with downloading Musescore 3, but when I open it I get Musescore3.exe has stopped working and I have to close the program. How can this be fixed?

There I suggested:
But can you check whether it doesn't crash when you use the -w or the -s option?
There are reports about that, not specific to the 32-bit version though.
Another option: try the one from https://ci.appveyor.com/project/MuseScore/musescore/builds/21651597/job…

Thanks for making this 32 bits version ! It works great under my windows 7 system.

This could be related, even tough it happened in windows 7 64-bit .
I installed musescore 3.6.2 and it complained that it was missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll
I installed "Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2999226)" from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49093
and it seems to be running fine in my windows 7.
There could be a similar version for 32-bit, in case anyone still needs it one of these days.
Thanks,
Pedro

That indeed is a know and recurring issue.
But then again Windows 7 is outdated and out of support (by Microsoft) since far more than 2 years now...
(Actually since 14. Januar 2020)

We all know that by now. I got a computer with Windows 10 on it now.
