How can i remove a tuplet without deleting the notes? i just want to delete the number 3 above each section but without having to rewrite the notes

You can just delete the number 3 in the Inspector -- under 'Tuplet', change the 'Number type' to 'None'. The number will vanish, the notes will remain. The rhythm will remain the same, as only the number 3 gets deleted.

That's not removing the tuple though, not replacing the tuplet with regular notes.
And the number doesn't get deleted, it just doesn't get shown anymore, that's a different thing ;-)

True. The number 3 doesn't show anymore. It vanishes, and so only "looks like" it is "deleted".
As for replacing the triplets with regular notes, the OP did not really specify replacing anything -- simply wanting to "remove" the triplet "just by deleting the number 3" without having to delete or re-write the notes. The link I provided shows this particular case -- just deleting, or vanishing, or not showing, the number 3:
