Liebe Freunde,
Insbesondere wegen dieser Veröffentlichung eines Chansons auf MuseScore.com wurde unser Freund FarrierPete, Gründer der Gruppe "Tha Basic Piano-School", wegen angeblicher Verletzung der Community-Guidelines von dem aktuellen MuseScore-Management von der Domain verbannt (nach 10 jahren Mitgliedschaft und 334 Followern).
Ich denke, das sollte auch hier öffentlich bekannt gegeben werden.

Especially because of this posting of a chanson on MuseScore.com, our friend FarrierPete, founder of the group "Tha Basic Piano-School", was banned from the domain by the current MuseScore management (after 10 years of membership and 334 followers) for allegedly violating the community guidelines.
I think this should be publicly announced here as well.

Thanks for the information, just wrote a request to MuseScore about the reason. Maybe others could do the same to get clarity (and please no pre-judging the decision without knowing anything about the reasons)?

Thanks for your commitment, kuwitt, but better use your time to further develop good software or make music. Anyway, I don't feel like creating scores (License CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0) for the current management anymore, which are then stolen from the domain MuseScore.com and offered for money at Russian music publishers (e.g. Synthesia MIDI, or whatever this letterbox company calls itself)
I will continue to use the program MuseScore and MuseScore.org, but the domain www.MuseScore.com will not be used in the future. Unfortunately, the domain has been bought by an oligarch and Putin confidant from Kaliningrad, who was looking for a profitable investment in the West.
Too bad, it used to be a great place for music lovers. I would never have believed 10 years ago that the life's work of Werner Schweer, Nicolas Froment and Thomas Bonte would end up in the hands of the Russian branch of "Kosher Nostra"... >B^{
I don't believe King David 2.0 (reloaded) and his people a word, and not only since today. He is looking for only three things at MuseScore: First money, second money and third money. The King David of today no longer messes with a certain Goliath, but makes common cause with him. He also doesn't play psalter anymore, look at his own data trail he left in four years on his Profiles.Page.
Unfortunately impossible to change. So I will vote with my feet.

Danke für dein Engagement, kuwitt, aber verwende deine Zeit besser dafür, gute Software weiter zu entwickeln oder Musik zu machen. Ich habe sowieso keine Lust mehr, für das aktuelle Management Scores (Lizenz CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0) zu erstellen, die dann von der Domain MuseScore.com geklaut und bei russischen Musikverlagen gegen Geld angeboten werden (z.B. Synthesia MIDI, oder wie sich diese Briefkastenfirma nennt)
Ich werde das Programm MuseScore und MuseScore.org weiter nutzen, aber die Domain www.MuseScore.com künftig nicht mehr. Die Domain ist leider wohl von einem Oligarchen und Putin-Vertrauten aus Kaliningrad aufgekauft worden, der ein profit-trächtige Kapitalanlage im Westen suchte.
Schade, war mal ein toller Laden für Musikfreunde. Hätte vor 10 Jahren nicht geglaubt, daß das Lebenswerk von Werner Schweer, Nicolas Froment und Thomas Bonte so in den Händen der russischen Filliale der "Kosher Nostra" enden würde... >B^{
Ich glaube King David 2.0 (reloaded) und seinen Leuten kein Wort, und das nicht erst seit heute. Der sucht bei MuseScore nur drei Dinge: Erstens Geld, zweitens Geld und drittens Geld. Der King David von heute legt sich nicht mehr mit einem gewissen Goliath an, sondern macht mit ihm gemeinsame Sache. Er spielt auch keinen Psalter mehr, sieh mal seine eigene Datenspur an, die er in vier Jahren auf seiner Profiles.Page hinterlassen hat.
Leider nicht zu ändern. Also werde ich mit den Füßen abstimmen.
