is it called a page break?
Hi I'm transferring a small piece of music to musescore to help when learning something. But I want the last quaver to appear in the next line. I've tried all the page break options in the palette and I can't get it do what I want. You can see what I want it to do in the image I've posted. The last bar in the first and second line is split, so the last quaver of the bar appears in the next line. It plays perfectly it's just a bit confusing to read. I have this version of musescore. OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021803, revision: 3224f34
Thanks for your time

You'll want to:
1. Select the quaver
2. Tools > Measure > Split measure/bar before selected note/rest
3. Apply a System Break to the first of the split measures (to force the remainder onto a new system)
4. Select the barline at the end of the first system
5. Make it invisible (V)

worked perfectly
You need to split the measure first.
