room for copyright
Can anyone help me make room for a long copyright? I have been unsuccessful, and not able to resolve this with the FB support. Thank you. Missing text is BMG RIGHTS MANAGEMENT (US) LLC All Rights Reserved Used by Permission

If you look in the score properties from the [File] menu you will see that the missing part of your copyright statement is entered in a field called Copyright b. That is non-standard and only the standard copyright field is entered into the footer by the :copyright: tag. Is this an import from a different application?
My suggestion to fix it is to open your favourite text editor and copy/paste from the 2 copyright fields to make a single text string adding line breaks where seem convenient. Then copy and past that string from the text editor back to the standard copyright field in the score properties. The copyright field on the score itself should update automatically.

Thank you. That worked brilliantly!

It would be interesting to know where that Copyright b field came from. I guess it came via an import operation [musicxml?]. If this is a common component of imported scores it may be that Musescore can be encouraged to handle it more sensibly in future.

I created the field and named it myself using the “new” button. It worked for a single line, but not two additional lines. That’s why I thought it might be a bug in the software.

Like this?
(In the case: I cut some words in File/Properties Score and added them in Format/Style->Header/Footer)

I don't think there is anything to fix then.

No- all good! Would like to be able to change font size in properties, but that’s minor. Thanks for your help.
