How to shorten a measure for musescore 3.6.2
At the end of my score there are only 2 measures and musescore stretches these and they appear quite unnatural. How do I shrink them? The "{" command does not do anything.

If you can't better balance your page(s) then consider appending a horizontal frame. By changing the width of the frame you can control how much space is left for those measures.
Remove the System Break that is immediately before them.

Thanks for the reply. Tried that but it did not work. What I finally did was to add a couple of blank measures.
Thanks again.

Maybe I did this incorrectly, but I looked up what a 'system break' was and I removed it but it did not have any effect. Thanks for the comment.
What I did that did work was to add a coupleple of blank
measures. Not ideal, but sufficient for me.

Try this...
Use menu item: Format > Add/Remove System Breaks... and then click 'Remove current system breaks'.
This will give you a decent layout you can keep as is, or you can add your own system breaks if you want any line to have fewer measures in it.

So use the horizontal frame instead of bogus measures...

To be clear, the advice was to remove the system break on the second to last system. Right now, that break is what is forcing that system to have only one measure, which the last system has two. Removing the break puts all three measure on the same system. So, that absolutely works, in that it does what it supposed to do.
Better still would be to remove the other system breaks and add new ones that are better chosen to allow the whole piece to fit on one page.
But as mentioned, if for whatever reason you'd rather not fit everything nicely on a single page but would instead prefer one system with only two measures at the end, a horizontal frame after the last measure is the way to get that.
