Musescore 4 is not recognizing the Hauptwerk VST Link plug-in
I want to make the permanent switch from Finale to Musescore 4. However, I'm disappointed that Musescore 4 does not recognize Hauptwerk (Virtual Pipe Organ software) as a VST, as Hauptwerk is a standalone software with a VST Link plug-in.
When will Musescore 4 support VST Link plug-ins from virtual instrument software like Hauptwerk?
If it already does, how am I supposed to do that? No matter how often I click on the Audio FX drop-down list, VST as an option does not show up, which means Hauptwerk doesn't show up either.
In the meantime, I might have to keep using Finale as the main notation software before importing MusicXMLs to make Musescore versions, as I've always been doing it.
The screenshot below is from Hauptwerk's website confirming that it has a VST Link plug-in.

don't know Hauptwerk provides VST3 or just VST2 (dll).
the UVI - FalconVSTx64.dll dosen't shows up also.
But not all .VST3 works in MS4,
I got VirHarmonic Violin and Cello comes VST3,
in MS4, both showing, but not working.

I don't know the type that Hauptwerk uses. Though what I can tell you, is that even though Hauptwerk is a standalone VPO (Virtual Pipe Organ) software, it does have VST capabilities by utilizing a VST Link of sorts.
I think Hauptwerk is not a VST3; their manual seems to hint at a default location or choosing a custom one, which was common for VST2. Their default location does not match the one required by the VST3 standard.
The only topic about VST3 that quickly popped up was http://forum.hauptwerk.com/viewtopic.php?uid=15515&t=15305&start=0
