Bring back the ability to set the audio engine to JACK audio on Linux
Musescore 4 has oversimplified the IO settings panel too much and has removed the ability to connect Musescore to JACK audio on Linux.
As a result, not only am I not able to easily change MIDI input devices using a patchbay (which I always keep open and find easier to use than having to open the settings panel) but even worse, it has introduced an awful amount of latency between key presses and audio output.
Please bring back the ability to connect to JACK audio. It's what every professional music producer on Linux uses.

There is currently no Jack support indeed, it might come back in a future update.

This is a real disappointment I am very impressed by M4 but this is a show stopper for me. I just loaded M4 and am now reloading M3.6. I can't use M4 without Jack. Surely there's a plan to put this in? What about Pipewire?

First at all: M4 has improved marvelously! Congrats! You guys are amazing!
But no support for jack, sadly, is a stopper for me.
Hope you implement it soon: it's too hard having to get back to M3 after tasted M4.
