Project
piano grand stave, add arpeggio to triads in each hand (3 notes in bass stave, 3 notes in treble stave), the arpeggio becomes two little wiggle lines next to each grouping, but there should be only one wiggle line and it should be stretch from the bottom note to the top one. Trying to do this manually will make it look okay for a few seconds before the staves get pushed apart as musescore adjusts so that the wiggle line sits under the stave above it instead of alligning to the top note in the treble stave and the bottom one of the bass stave.

That seems to achieve what you want.
There's another issue to get this improved

I will see if they are the same voice. I'm fairly sure that they are all voice 1. 🙂

Thanks for the link to that guide, it doesn't work though :( pressing shift and down just makes it go very tiny as it moves down the page, trying to stretch it back across the staves reverts back to the original issue of it just sperating the staves again. :(
