Noobie chord question
When I enter the text for Dminor7, Dmin7 or D-7 and then select "realize chord symbols", musescore always adds the "C" note to the stave. This note is NOT in the Dm7 chord, right? How do I get ONLY the chord notes to display? Thanks

It needs a C to make it a 7th but if you're talking about the placement of the notes (C down low, C at the top etc.) I agree the implementation could do with more options over the placing of the notes and also would be better with the default duration being for the note or rest it is on rather than until the next chord.

If you play the D Dorian mode scale, the C is the 7th degree - Dm7.
If the chord is Dm Major 7, the 7th is C#.
