While playing back a bagpipes score with a MuseScore bagpipe solo part, the playback is not working properly. The dedicated Bagpipe embellishments sound like full notes instead of sounding like an acciaccatura, as they should.
Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbQI7mbG2iI
I have also attached a file.
Curiously, the bagpipe embellishments using several gracenotes sound fine when being played back.
PS: The bug is in the new version 4, too.

There's an extra code path for multiple grace notes to sound shorter, that's why those work.
For single note grace notes are supposed to sound like they do normally, just not for bagpipes apparently.
Not sure this conflict is possible to resolve

Thanks, Jojo-Schmitz. Forgive this perhaps technically naive question. Isn't it possible somehow to exchange the sound of the current broken single note gracenotes with the sound of acciacaturas (which sound perfectly right but don't look right)? Thanks!
For that we'd need extra playback properties for grace notes.
How about using acciaccaturas and making the slash invisible?

I'm having the same issue, the built-in bagpipe embellishment grace notes are not "fast" enough.
Changing them all to acciaccaturas helps. Is there a way to change all the built-in embellishments to be acciaccaturas but look like 1/32 notes? 1/32 notes is the convention for writing grace notes in highland bagpipe music.
Just adding a note this occurs in 4.0 as well.
Ass this issue tracker here is being discontinued better report it on GitHub, but as mentioned this may be impossible to solve , other than via an added property for grace notes
